The half hour eye examination at Donvale Optical includes an accurate refraction and a comprehensive health check of your eyes. Our Optometrist will thoroughly screen for all potential eye problems including Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, and Diabetic Retinopathy. Optical Coherence Tomographer
Optical Coherence Tomography scanning creates a 3-dimensional map of the back of your eye. The scanner captures detailed images of the layers of the retina and the Optometrist can detect early signs of disease or change.

Medmont Field Analyser
The Medmont Field Analyser is a vital tool for the detection of Glaucoma.
It uses a complex computer generated pattern of light flashes to detect any visual field loss in your eyes.
The Medmont Field analyser is used for a variety of other purposes including motor vehicle driver eyesight tests

The Tonometer is used for measuring the pressure within the eye to check for Glaucoma and is used in conjuntion with the Medmont Field Analyser when it is required.
