Jenny Spicer

Principal Optometrist
Our Principal Optometrist, Jenny has been practising Optometry since 1987. She is also endorsed to prescribe therapeutic drugs.
In addition to looking after people's eyes her interests are cooking, travelling and playing the alto-saxophone. Walking her beautiful Border Collie keeps her fit.

Helen Medley
Optometrist
I started my Optometry career in 2007 in West Gippsland, after working with Jenny and Eric at Donvale Optical on the weekend during my studies. I enjoyed the variety and challenge that country practice brought. We relocated to Melbourne in 2012, and I worked in various part-time roles in private practice when my children were in their preschool years. It's great to be back at Donvale Optical, especially as I spent my childhood in a house just down the road! I am passionate about improving and optimizing the visual and eye health outcomes of my patients. When not working, I am a mum to Xavier & Renee. I enjoy walking, volunteering with Mainly Music and at my local church, and cooking.

Jasmine Lichtenstein
Optometrist
Jasmine is consulting at Donvale Optical on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You can also book a specialist appointment with Jasmine for
Ortho-K fitting and Myopia Control. Jasmine completed her Bachelor of Optometry at the University of Melbourne in 1998 and her Diploma in Ocular Therapeutics in 2003. She has an interest in public health and completed her Masters in this area in 2009. She has worked as an optometrist in remote aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory and with aid organisations in Romania, Nepal and Morocco.
Richard Jeffrey
Optical Dispenser
Having completed a music degree at Melboune University, Richard then completed a two year Cert IV in Optical Dipensing at R.M.I.T.
Richard brings great skill and knowledge to our practice.
His interests are music (of course!), travel and cooking.
